"Texas Voodoo Blues" by Richard Cagle & the Voodoo Choir (Blues Artist from Texas(TX))

Richard Cagle & the Voodoo Choir is rocking the house with their recently released CD, "Texas Voodoo Blues" chocked full of unstoppable vibrant and energetic songs creatively crafted with down home Blues and an attitude of hard rock. Cagle's vocals are rootsy and melodic while his exceptionally fine quality cast of musicians clearly defines what chemistry is all about within a band. This group brings infectious bouncy bluesy beats and well written lyrics to life on "Sally Sue," You Got the Shake," or "Sweet Marie" which also features an awesome guitar solo. Bringing the beat down a notch, "Black Hearted Woman" still retains an aura of bluesy feel with soulful keys, softer drums, and sweet walking bass line. Check out the guitars on "Mystery Moon" as it playfully interplays with the gruff and tough vocals. Fans of Stevie Ray Vaugh and ZZ Top will want to add the superb collection of Texas style rockin' Blues of "Texas Voodoo Blues" as this album will surely please and is well worth listening to.
