"Threads in the Fabric" by Saint Jake (Rock Artist from Ohio (OH))

The CD entitled "Threads in the Fabric" by Saint Jake is full of well composed rock sounds, gorgeously spiced with pop and blues. The lyrics are quite thoughtful and the vocal articulation very impressive. The mucisianship on the CD is strong, and the production carefully done. The CD strongly demonstrates Saint Jake's musical talent. "Before you make up your mind" is a well mixed track with appealing lyrics and a sensational saxophone part. The skilful play of electric guitar in "Marco and the Voodoo Queen" gives this track a fantastically unique flavor. "Do the right thing" with its good vocal combination and blend, makes this track catchy and tasteful. If you enjoy roots Rock sounds with blues and pop influences, you will enjoy this CD. "Delta Flyer" by Stevie DuPree (Blues artist from Texas (TX))

A totally terrific CD from Stevie DuPree, Delta Flyer captures the diversity of his heritage. The recording quality is crystal clear, the musicianship is impressive, and the songwriting provides memorable tracks. Harder Than A Fat Man (live) has an awesome story line, great hooks, with catchy lyrics and licks. Steady Thinkin brings along wonderful up-beat rocking blues, and Stevie is no doubt gonna get the girl in this tune. Excellent harmonies are presented on When The Deal Goes Down. Every Monkey Woman has a wonderful groove; it is cute and a terrific dancing tune. An exceptional musical number has to be Queen Bee; alive and buzzing with piano and guitar solos. Our two picks: Please Think Of Me is a sensual saxophone-laced duet, and the toe-tapping Driving Rain with delicious fiddle in which Stevie shows his bluegrass roots. If you enjoy rockin' blues, you will delight in this CD. Pick up a copy today!
