"Livin' The Blues" by Shaun Murphy (Blues Artist from Tennessee(TN))

Highly accomplished vocalist and by far no stranger to the music scene, Shaun Murphy releases her instinctive, powerhouse of fabulous Blues on the CD, "Livin' The Blues." Murphy's vocals reach deep down inside capturing the true essence of these soulful and emotive Blues compositions. The passionate and burning vocals on "It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry" fuel the emotive lyrics with a rich and fervent style and grace. Not only does the title track, "Livin' The Blues" move with a strong, tight beat, the vocals are well balanced and supported by a solid cast of musicians. Power chords and building beats give "Rock And Roll Everynight" a vibrant and energetic vibe while Murphy takes the helm with her tough, vocal attitude. Make no mistake; "Livin' The Blues" packs a powerful punch of deep and soulful Blues steeped with Murphy's vocals as formidable and commanding as the great singers Etta James or Koko Taylor.

"Coyote Kings' Large Band Extravaganza!" by Coyote Kings (Blues/Rock Artist from Washington(WA))

The Coyote Kings have done it again with their second released CD, "Coyote Kings' Large Band Extravaganza!" that is jam packed with scorching hot Rockin' Blues. The highly contagious opener, "Naughty Little Girl," kicks off the vibes for the entire album with strong and solid horns, insatiable guitars, and knocks your socks off vocals. Not only is "Crack The Whip" an invigorating and fun tune, the lyrics are tastefully naughty. This group really knows how to have a fun time as you can hear on "Crazy In the Head" with hilarious lyrics that meld with the moving beat. The razor sharp sweet guitar licks on "Black Eyed Voodoo Child" gets down and dirty for that slow, soulful bluesy tonality. The Coyote Kings perform with fire and fury and this album features energetic and sharp flowing music. A powerhouse of rocking Blues, "Coyote Kings' Large Band Extravaganza!," is a must have addition to your Blues collection especially if you're a fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan or ZZ Top.
