"Wanted By The FBI" by Wanted by the FBI (Blues artist from Buffalo, New York (NY))

"Wanted By The FBI" (Blues Rock) by Wanted by the FBI is an original and exciting blues rock DVD/album. The band is very tight and strong. The guitar work on this CD blew us away! It's hard not to turn up the volume when listening to this band jamming on these tracks. The vocals are excellent for this genre. The emotional vocals draws the listener to the lyrics without overpowering the strength of the instrumental work. "How It's Gonna Feel" has a tight blues groove, harmonized guitar fills, and an incredibly screaching guitar solo, that helps to underscore the talent and tightness of this band. "Mean Thing" has excellent story-telling blues vocals along with the tremendous guitar fills. If you are a fan of blues or rock, you'll enjoy this outstanding DVD.

"Cocktails by the Dumpster" by Capital B (Blues Artist from Ontario, Canada)

"Cocktails by the Dumpster" by Capital B is filled with clever lyrics and wicked electric blues guitar. This is a definite fun party CD. What makes this album unique is superior musicianship and really funny lyrics. Thank you Canada! We love to laugh while we're rockin'. There is an excellent blues rock groove throughout this CD. Highlights are "That's Right (I Got My Babe)," which has a grooving rolling bass line, great guitar fills and just plain pumps. "She Won't Stay" has a nice crunchy rhythm guitar, a thick beat and gritty, naughty vocals. "Let it Go (You Skanky-Ho)" is an outright laugh-fest. Musically, you'll experience another tight rhythm section as well as some nice Sax work. If you enjoy bluesy rock and clever, funny lyrics, grab a cold one and pop this one in.

“Faoin Speir” by Peter Moore (Blues Artist from Ireland)

"Faoin Speir" by Peter Moore is an authentic and refreshing taste of Dublin rock. This CD is an experience in celtic rock and blues. The CD nicely varies tempo and content. Peter's gritty, deep voice is very effective and memorable on these tracks. The musicianship and recording quality are both totally professional. "Cole Black Porter" is an excellent example of a high energy track on this CD, whereas the track "Just Like Chicago" tells its story with the subtly and expression of feeling that gives this CD such charm. "Downtown Manhattan" is an excellent upbeat track with an outstanding vocal performance and a boppin' big band sound that will have you off your seat dancing. This is a CD to make the cold of winter mellow like early spring. If you like clarity and variety in a CD and finding outstanding indie artists, this CD will make a good addition to your collection.

"When She Whispers Your Name" by Buck 69 (Blues Artist from Ohio(OH))

"When She Whispers Your Name" by Buck 69 is blues rock guitar at it's best. This father and son duo bring their chops to the table with tons of energy and a world of talent. The band as a whole is tight and talented, backing the boys nicely. The production quality is great. You can certainly hear every instrument represented in each track. The vocals are very Clapton-esque, with that nice warm and a pleasantly raspy quality. Highlights are the opener "T-Town," which sets the tone nicely with a big sound, wailing guitars and a big attitude. "Misery" has a catchy chorus with nice female backing vocals. "Risk It All" mellows things out a bit with some nice work on the keys and variance in guitar sound. "Sex, Drugs, Ur Mom and Me" speaks for itself and absolutely shreds. If you like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, you'll enjoy this one.
